Barefoot Sport was founded by Bengy Barsanti who has more than 40 years experience across the endurance event industry.
Together, they’ve delivered 100+ events: running, swimming, triathlon, adventure racing with fields as small as community fun runs and as large as 10,000+ athletes.
They know exactly what it feels like to run an event where systems must work first time, no excuses.
They’ve supported major sponsors, managed athlete communication, juggled logistics, and felt the pressure of results screens when timing and tech are pushed to their limits.
Why We Built Barefoot Sport
For years, we watched overseas systems dominate the Australian and New Zealand market. Great platforms, but slow to adapt. Updates delayed. Feature requests pushed to the back of the queue. Local organisers had to make do, not move forward.
